Sunday Worship Service Times are 8:00am in the Multi-Purpose Center & 10:30am in the Great Worship Center.
Adult Church School meets from 9:15am-10:15am.
J-Crew Next Generation Worship meets in the Youth Center at 10:30am for Junior & Senior High.
Children’s Sunday School (1st-6th grade) meets at 10:30am in the Education Center. (1st–3rd grade) meets in Room 106/108 and (4th–6th grade) meets in Room 105/107.
J-Crew2, Early Childhood Edition meets at 10:30am in the Elder Johnson Family Life Center. All children ages 3 years old thru Kindergarten are invited to attend.
Wednesday Evening Service “Hour of Power” in the Multi-Purpose Center from 7-8pm.
Counter Culture Club meets on Wednesday evenings at 6pm in Bishop’s Place thru August 7. Our theme is The Ethical Demand of Loving Your Neighbor as Yourself. Join us as we continue the journey of loving each other as God loves us.
The Prophetic Sword Conference is Friday, July 26 (6:30pm) and Saturday, July 27 (9am – 4pm) in the Multi-Purpose Center. Join us for Praise & Worship, Workshops, Prophetic Artists, and more. Bishop Joey Johnson is the speaker.
Our Annual Discipleship Conference is Saturday, August 3 from 8am – 12pm in the Multi-Purpose Center. Theme: Jealousy and the Blindness of Biblical Betrayal! Hosted and facilitated by Bishop Joey Johnson, this eye opening conference will be a blessing to all who attend. The cost is FREE! Register in the Church Office.
The 5th Annual Back 2 School Fair is Saturday, August 10 from 1-3pm in the Elder Johnson Family Life Center. There will be free school supplies, while they last, free haircuts, games, prizes, and fun! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
WHITE Sunday is August 11! Everyone is asked to wear white as we join together to wipe out diabetes.
If you’re in need of food assistance, we’re partnering with the Salvation Army and the Akron Canton Food Bank for a Food Distribution every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Next distribution, August 14. Bring an ID and your own bags/cart.
Our Fall Grief Recovery Workshop begins on Thursday, August 22. Times are 10am – 12pm or 6:30-8:30pm. The cost is $40 which includes the book and all workshop materials. Grief Recovery addresses all loses and disappointments you’ve experienced. Register in the Church Office.
Introduction to Healing continues with a series on the “Power to Heal” held on the 4th Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:30pm in the Great Commission Room. The next class will be Thursday, August 22.
An Expungement Clinic sponsored by The University of Akron Law School will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 9am – 12pm. If you need help with a criminal record or restoring your driver’s license they can help. Bring your ID and Driver’s License.
The Church Office and the Elder Johnson Family Life Center will be closed Friday, August 30 and Monday, September 2 for Labor Day Weekend. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.

WWTIC Line Dancing meets in the Elder Johnson Family Life Center from 6:30-8:00pm. Everyone is welcome to participate.

The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Chapter sponsors individual support groups that meet in a variety of venues throughout the region. The Barberton Caregiver Support Group meets at the Barberton Public Library on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. An Alzheimer’s Association support group is a gathering of people with common problems, needs and interests who come together to share their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems of dementia in a safe environment.
