His commitment to preaching and teaching God’s word, his holistic approach to ministry, and strategic community partnerships to scale the impact of The House of the Lord’s outreach further enriches the congregation’s spiritual life.
A graduate of Malone University, Pastor Daren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management. He is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and has received specialized training through a Certificate in Leadership from the Sam Chand Leadership Institute. His passion for learning reflects his dedication to personal and professional growth; he immerses himself in approximately 20 books annually on biblical theology, Leadership, and related subjects.
Pastor Daren’s influence extends beyond the church, as he actively serves on the boards of several local organizations, including his role as Vice President of the Beth-El Fellowship of Visionary Churches, Chairman of the board member for C.O.R.E. (City Of Refuge For Everyone), and President of the board of directors for Love Akron. His engagement in the community underscores his belief in the transformative power of faith.
In his personal life, Pastor Daren cherishes his 15-year marriage to Alaina, who is an indispensable partner in life and ministry. They are proud parents to three sons: Donovan, Brayden, and Brandon. A passionate advocate for God’s people and God’s Word, Pastor Daren is dedicated to inspiring others and nurturing the spiritual growth of the congregation through his preaching by wrestling with the blue notes of life so that people may find hope in the gospel.
